Fleurish is a home-based floral studio in Cockle Bay, Auckland. We create thoughtfully designed arrangements using seasonal blooms and an appreciation for flowers at their natural best. With a focus on sustainability, Fleurish embraces environmentally-conscious floristry practices that honour nature and creates bespoke, meaningful designs made to honour life’s moments (big or small) with intention, warmth, and authenticity.

Alongside our florals, we carry a small, curated selection of beautiful, unique gifts sourced from local businesses we admire.

We work with locally-grown flowers when they are in season, making sure you receive them at their freshest.

We source our flowers directly from local growers and wholesalers, and offer a curated selection of locally made gifts.

Sustainable

We are committed to earth-friendly floristry practices. We emphasize using compostable, reusable, and recyclable materials in our designs, and avoid floral foam whenever possible.

Meet Our Team

Tara Willis

Florist / Owner

I started Fleurish after stepping away from a long career in corporate human resources and recruitment, where empathy, excellence, and attention to the individual were at the heart of everything I did. I had the privilege of supporting employees in the toughest and the brightest moments of their professional lives, and crafting spaces that allowed each person to thrive, but after many years in this space, I needed something different.

At the same time, I've always loved flowers. The scent of those early spring blooms, the beauty of those rare pops of colour through winter, and the ways that they join us in our celebrations, comfort us in our grief, and remind us to slow down and notice the beauty that surrounds us.

Floristry became a way for me to combine these two loves: coming alongside people in their highs and lows to help them flourish 🌱, while working more closely with my hands, the seasons, and the natural world. To me, Fleurish is all about creating something meaningful – flowers that offer comfort, celebration, and quiet joy, and that help people feel seen, cared for, and held.

Sandy Willis

Chief Quality Inspector

Sandy is Fleurish’s much-loved studio companion. She’s a Labrador Retriever mix (with a bit of Staffy, we think, or perhaps some Rhodesian Ridgeback?) and the snuggliest dog you’re ever likely to meet. Sandy is deeply curious, incredibly smart, and full of energy, which means she keeps us on our toes.

She adores people, offers the most enthusiastic kisses, and has a big bark that doesn’t quite match her soft heart. While she’s less enthusiastic about other dogs, she’s happiest greeting humans and supervising flower-making up close.

If you’re visiting Fleurish to collect flowers or chat through event plans, you can expect Sandy to be nearby, usually ready to say hello (loudly!), and always keen to help.

Please let me know ahead of time if you’re not comfortable around dogs, and I’ll make arrangements for her to tend to other responsibilities during your visit.
